Investment in State of the Art Production Site

Marking a new era and investment for future sustainability, we are planning on relocating our Edinburgh mill to new state of the art facilities. A number of sites are being reviewed in the Rosyth area, Scotland – allowing for redevelopment of the existing site at Edinburgh airport into office space, hotel and leisure facilities.

The major investment in modern facilities and technology will have capacity of 300,000 tonnes per annum. This modern operation will enable us to run an even more efficient process as well as being sensitive to the environment.  The business currently operates three monogastric feed mills located in Scotland, East Anglia, and North Wales; manufacturing a comprehensive range of broiler, broiler breeder, layer and duck feed

Gavin Berry, our Managing Director, commented; “I am delighted to be able to make this announcement which demonstrates our continued commitment to supporting a sustainable Scottish poultry industry.  2Agriculture is one of the UK’s leading independent milling businesses supplying feed to the poultry sector for over 50 years. As experts in poultry feed, 2Agriculture manufactures top quality feeds formulated to deliver consistent, high quality, value performance. Today the business manufactures just under one million tonnes of feed annually and distributes this to its growing base of farming customers across the UK. Working alongside farmers, we can develop, tailor and formulate feed rations and plans to suit specific farming methods and objectives.”

Gavin adds; “We are currently working with some of the best architects and planners in the UK – and have a shortlist of four construction companies who will execute this new build project for us. By replacing our older Edinburgh mill, we will be able to ensure our customers enjoy excellence at every level – from the grain as it enters the mill, state of the art technology and engineering through to delivery on farm. Continuing to make significant investment into equipment, technology and infrastructure means that 2Agriculture can operate with the latest innovations – making us a modern, efficient and reliable business to work with.”
