2Agriculture are delighted to announce further investment in the business following the recent introduction of 21 G450 Scania units joining the fleet; seven at the Stoke Ferry site in East Anglia, eight at the Llay Mill in Wrexham, and six at our Fairview Mill in Edinburgh. The units are fully automatic, with automatic engine cut off, automatic braking system and dual batteries. All this automation has shown an immediate improvement MPG as demonstrated by the telematics reports produced by Scania. With Lane Departure Warning Systems becoming mandatory in November, we are proud to say that each of these vehicles are fully kitted out to meet requirements.
With the winter fast approaching, the 2Agriculture team of drivers based at our Mill in Scotland will benefit from the six vehicles joining that fleet boasting tag axels allowing for tighter turning circles and increased traction control. Severe weather won’t be a problem to these drivers. Conversely, the vehicles across all sites are also ready for summer with fridges and air-conditioner installed to help the drivers on long, hot drives.
