Futures Close Report 16th April

Argentina – soybean harvest progress reported at 37.8% complete – with an average yield of 3.42t / Ha   – current forecasts sit around 49.5 million tonnes for completed harvest.   Corn crops were seen at 32.7% harvested with a final forecast sat at 50 million tonnes.

US CBOT wheat down circa 5% week on week, its biggest weekly fall since March 2019 –  C19 and resultant weaker global demand underpinning the falls.
