UkrAgroConsult raised its forecast for the Ukraine 2017 grain harvest to 61.4 million tonnes from a previous estimate of 60.9 million tonnes. Whilst forecasting an export potential for 17/18 at 39.5 million tonnes.

Dryer long range weather forecast for US corn belt which should allow farmers to pick up the planting pace – currently circa 6% complete.

NOPA figures for US soybean Crushers states soymeal exports during the month jumped to 1.057 million tons, up from 738,825 tons during February. In March 2016, soymeal exports totaled 779,100 tons. The monthly export total was the biggest since January 2013.
