Futures Close Report: 15th June 2017

Consultant Strategie Grains cut its 2017 EU Soft Wheat harvest forecast by 1.1 million tonne to 141.6M although this is still up 4% on last year.  Maize forecast was predicted down 100k tonnes at 60 million tonnes unchanged from last year.

French wheat quality rating declined slightly over the last week to 74% good / excellent down from 75% last week.  Weather in France remains hot and dry.

Some industrial action reported as halting ship loading along the Parana river in Argentina as port worker stage a strike.
