Futures Close Report: 15th August 2017

Mixed weather across the UK allows intermittent harvest progress as conditions permit.

Ukraine has almost completed this year’s wheat and barley harvest, progress complete across 98% of planted area.  Total figures are wheat at 26 million tonnes and Barley at 8.5 million tonnes, according to figures released by their Ag ministry.
