Markets fell sharply yesterday with hopes raised for a ceasefire in Ukraine – it remains to be seen if this will translate to an improvement on the situation within Ukraine as is hoped, with various western sources briefing that the threat posed by the conflict is still very much active, despite Russia stating its intention to scale down the attack.
