Russia – wheat export forecast by Sovecon for 22/23 raised by 300k tonnes to a record high of 42.6 million tonnes – this despite the impact of international sanctions in response to Ukraine conflict.

Egypt – purchased 815k tonnes of wheat for Aug/Sep/Oct 22 – (reported as 350k French / 240k Romania / 175k Russian and 50k Bulgarian).
