Futures Close Report 04/03/21

Ukraine – comments made by a senior government source indicate that 2021 grains harvest could exceed the record high of 75 million tonnes – winter wheat currently in excellent condition.

Russia – mild conditions have lead to a better than expected condition of winter grain crops.  Spring plantings will commence in the second half of this month and but increasing production numbers will add welcome pressure to markets.
