China has approved Argentina as a supplier of soybean meal, this allows the worlds largest exporter of meal access to the Chinese market for the first time – normally China imports whole soybeans and then has domestic crush and excluding Argentina has protected domestic crush margins in China. The approval process is now underway, but shipments will not start imminently.
