Futures Close Report 11th April 2019

China imported 4.92 million tonnes of soybeans in March, up from 4.46 million tonnes in February, according to data from the General Administration of Customs.  The imports were still down approx 13% from the same point last year.  Overall imports for 2019 to date are down 14% year on year owing to the tariffs placed on US supplies.
