US weather forecast remains dry elevating concerns for US winter wheat crops owing to moisture deficiency.

China’s March soybean imports of 5.66 million tonnes were down from last year’s 6.33 million tonnes, but up slightly from last month’s 5.42 million tonnes.   Total imports for the first 3 months of this year totalled 19.57 million tonnes up 0.2% on last year.

UK domestic markets remain liquid on old crop – farmers holding on to stored crop as spring planting programs are rain delayed – drier weather forecast over the weekend and into next week should allow for good progress on spring land work.
