USDA report – Reductions in forecast US yield for corn and soybeans sees slightly lower production levels – with wide variations in anticipated yield across the different growing areas in the US.

China reported to have purchased some US soybean cargos, albeit that this may be a gesture ahead of the next round of trade talks as the overall trade dispute between the two super powers rumbles on.
