Ukraine Ag ministry put their exports to date for the current season at 44.4 million tonnes,  up from 35.3 million tonnes at the same point last year.  Total exports for the current marketing year seen as hitting 49 million tonnes, which would be a 10 million tonne increase year on year.

US markets – planting delays across US due to adverse weather conditions, central to thoughts as funds balance their short positions against production risks.
