Futures Close Report: 15th Sept 2017

Projected U.S. 2018 corn plantings at 91.880 million acres, up from its estimate of 90.660 million planted in 2017 – putting total crop at 14.549 bln bushels based on a yield of 172.2 bpa.

For Soybean plantings the forecast seen falling to 89.057 million acres in 2018, down from 90.342 million in 2017, putting 2018 soybean crop of 4.327 billion bushels, based on yield of 49.0 bpa.
