Futures Close Report 17th March

2 week shutdown of Malaysian Palm oil plantations owing to coronavirus restrictions in the country have added some support back into the veg oils complex – CBOT soybeans found some support as a result of this.  However, the funds remain net sellers of Ag commodities.

Market rout has currently halted with buy side interest at lower numbers,  govt stimulus packages are also being absorbed as markets continue to evaluate and react to the current unprecedented trading conditions.
