Futures Close Report 18/05/21

EU crop estimate – Coceral increased EU27 soft wheat production forecast to 130.9 million tonnes up from 126.6 million tonnes estimated in March, and circa 10% above last years levels.  For the EU-27 plus Britain, Coceral increased its soft wheat production forecast to 145.8 million tonnes from 141.5 million previously.

EU maize production was seen at 64.7 million tonnes up from 63.5 million tonnes forecast in March.

OSR seen at 16.6 million tonnes slightly up from 16.1 million tonnes last year.
