Futures Close Report 19th July

Argentina wheat plantings are forecast up 7% year on year by Rosario grains exchange, seeing an area of 6.1 million hectares planted with wheat.  Expectations are set for a record harvest forecast at circa 19 million tonnes subject to weather! –  current record production is 17.75 million tonnes seen in 17/18 season.

Physical liquidity across UK markets remains low with more buyers than sellers,  farmers in the south are just getting into some of their wheat crops and markets looking for yield indications for direction.
