Futures Close Report: 1st August 2017

FC Stone – forecast US Crops as follows – U.S. 2017 corn production at 13.590 billion bushels (USDA 14.25bn)  with an average yield of 162.8 bushels per acre.   U.S. soybean harvest at 4.235 billion bushels (USDA 4.26 bn), with an average yield of 47.7 bpa.

Improving weather forecasts for US Crops easing market concerns for Corn / Soybeans during the August development window crucial for establishing yields.
