Futures Close Report: 23rd June 2017

Weather conditions in the Northern Hemisphere continue to dominate market sentiment, EU / US crops being watched carefully for further signs of deterioration.  Latest CFTC commodity data shows that funds now hold their least bearish positions in CBOT wheat since Nov 15, covering shorts back in as market concerns increase.  There is also speculation over potential quality issues with US Wheat protein content which is now expected to be on the low side.

FranceAgrimer rated French Wheat at 68% good / excellent down from 74% last week.  Maize saw a smaller decline in good/excellent ratings, to 84% from 86% last week.
