Futures Close Report 23rd March 2018

US dry weather continues to support US new crop wheat values as production concerns continue to circulate.  Focus is shifting to U.S. growing season. Farmers are likely to plant a record 91.5 million acres of soybeans in 2018 and 90 million acres of corn, according to a Farm Futures survey of nearly 1,400 growers released on Friday.

UK domestic –farmers utilising the opportunity to push on with land work for spring planting – resulting in slower pace  of on farm origination.
