International Grains Council (IGC)

Grain stocks at the end of 2019/20 were revised upwards to 588 million tonnes, from a previous forecast of 575 million but still down from 611 million last year.

Corn stocks at the end of 2019/20 were put at 275 million tonnes, up from 266 million estimated previously but still well below the 311 million estimated for 2018/19.

World soybean production in 2019/20 was forecast at 361 million, only marginally below the prior season’s record of 362 million tonnes. Soybean stocks at the end of the 2019/20 season were forecast at 56 million up 1 million tonnes year on year.
