Futures Close Report 31st October

Brazil soybean exports to China for the month of September were up 28% on the previous year according to the final customs data released this week, showing the impact of the ongoing US / China trade dispute.  This amounted to a purchase of 7.59 million tonnes.  Chinese soybean imports from the U.S. were 132,248 tonnes, compared with 937,000 tonnes in September last year.
