Futures Close Report 4th November

Delayed US soybean harvest reported at 75% complete with US corn harvest reported at 54% complete.  Well behind average pace owing to weather conditions.   However, winter wheat planting is reported 91% complete.

Brazil planting of HPS reported at 46% of planned area by Agrural.  Pace is above 5 year average but slightly behind levels seen last year.  More rain is required to secure plantings and crop establishment in more southerly areas of production.
