Futures Close Report 7th June

US weather still a priority for Ag markets as the US planting season closes out.

Chinese Soybean imports reported down 24% in May compared to the same month last year. – 7.36 million tonnes purchased this year against 9.69 million tonnes last year.  Overall Chinese imports are estimated at 31.75 million tonnes so for this year down around 12% on the previous year as the impact of Swine Flu reduces demand.
