19/20 exports of wheat from EU 27 reached 21.22 million tonnes by March  – well up (+70%) on last years poor performance.

Arg farmers have commenced a four day strike protesting against the recent export tax increases.

Markets still assessing the fall out from stock market rout,  risk premiums are up with little appetite from UK farmers to sell more particularly in nearby (old crop) positions.
