US reporting 43% of planted wheat crop in good / excellent condition as crops establish prior to the winter dormancy – this is down on the 46% g/e reported last week. Dry conditions in the southern plains regions have hit ratings harder than expected by analaysts. Total emergence at around 88%.

EU crop monitor MARS reporting timely completion of winter cereals planting across the EU, despite the wet conditions encountered over the last 2 months.
