Argentina’s soy crop is expected to reach 52 million tonnes during the 2018-19 season, up from 50 million tonnes previously forecast according to figs from Rosario Grains Exchange.  Corn crop is estimated at 46.5 million tonnes up from 44 million tonnes last forecast.

China soybean imports fell 13% in January 19 year on year  as the impact of the US / China trade dispute continues to affect the global trade flow.

Ukraine’s grain exports have risen to 30.17 million tonnes so far in the 2018/19 season, up from 24.88 million tonnes at the same point in the previous season.  This includes 14.3 million tonnes of maize and 11.9 million tonnes of wheat (increased maize accounting for a lowering of wheat).
