Informa Economics lowered its forecast for the U.S. 2018 corn yield to 179.7 bushels per acre (bpa), from 182.1 last month, and lowered its U.S. soybean yield forecast to 52.6 bpa, from 53.0 seen prior.   U.S. 2018 corn production at 14.698 billion bushels and soybean production at 4.647 billion bushels.

USDA US Area plantings forecast for 2019. Corn plantings to rise about 3 million acres to 92.0 million acres. Wheat acres would rise to 51.0 million acres, up from 47.8 million this year, while soybean acres would fall to 82.5 million acres.
