Russian grain quality control may suspend wheat loading at up to 30 inland loading points in two of the top exporting regions – this may be interpreted by markets as a sign that Russian authorities are trying to slow the pace of exports. Wheat markets firmer on the news.
Kazakhstan has harvested 18.2 million tonnes of grains, as of Oct.3, down from 21.2 million tonnes a year ago harvest progress was put at 89% overall.
