Futures Close Report 29th November 18

FranceAgriMer estimated 82 percent of French soft wheat was in good/excellent condition in the week to Nov. 26, unchanged from the previous week.

Strategie Grains sees EU soft wheat sowings for the 2019 harvest rising to 24.3 million hectares, up 6 percent from 2018, helped by much-needed rains across western and northern parts of the EU in November.  Wheat has also been supported by a sharp fall in oilseed Rape plantings.   Domestic UK Wheats appear to be in good condition.  Soil moisture levels in Octobe rand Early Nov were at the lower end of the 5 year min / max.  But seen improving thanks to better crop weather during the latter part of the month.
